The city is home to 788 travel agencies, including six specializing in tours to Taiwan and 48 offering international travel services. Leading tourism companies include C&D International Travel Agency, Xiamen Tourism Group, Fantawild, and Huaxia Cultural Tourism Group.

(1) Foundation for Growth?

Xiamen’s cultural and creative industries are experiencing rapid growth, particularly in film and television, smart audio-visual technology, digital content and new media, and creative design. The city is a growing center for high-end art, and serves as the permanent home of the prestigious China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. Xiamen has been designated a National Cultural and Technology Integration Demonstration Base, a National Cultural Export Base, and a National Smart Audio-visual Industry Base. In 2024, the sector generated over RMB 240 billion in revenue. Representative enterprises include G-bits, 4399, CMC-Live, Art Amoy, Migu Xinkong Culture Technology, Meitu, and Bojue Photography.
