On June 16, Resound China, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Denmark’s Great Northern Group, broke ground on its capacity expansion project—the Resound Phase II Factory Building. With a planned construction area of 14,000 square meters, the facility will solidify Xiamen's position as a global hub for hearing aid manufacturing. As a pioneer in communication, telecommunications, and hearing medical equipment, Great Northern Group has consistently led industry advancements. Resound China has developed multiple cutting-edge technologies, establishing strong brand recognition and significant market share in China. The new office building will serve as a modern industrial base integrating R&D, smart manufacturing, and pilot testing, slated for completion by late 2026. Upon operation, it is projected to generate RMB 540 million in annual output, further cementing Xiamen’s strategic role within the group’s global R&D and production network.
