On June 17, the third “Susong Cup” Future Industry Technology Innovation Competition kicked off at the No. 1 Incubator in Xiamen Science City. Xiamen will join forces with eight major cities from key innovation regions in China, including Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, to focus on three core sectors: Future information, future materials, and future health. Together, they aim to create a world-class science and technology event that brings together global innovation leaders. For the first time, this competition has established a BRICS track, inviting participation from BRICS member states and partner countries. This initiative aims to further advance the construction of the BRICS Science and Technology Innovation Incubator Park, facilitating the implementation and demonstration of BRICS scientific achievements in Xiamen. The total prize pool for the tournament exceeds RMB 18 million. In addition to generous prizes, first prize winners will have direct access to Xiamen's “Double Hundred Talent Program” and receive comprehensive support for settling in. Registration is now open globally until July. Following preliminary and semi-final rounds, Xiamen will host the finals and award ceremony in October.
