On June 28-29, the 2024 8th Jiwei Semiconductor Summit was held in Xiamen. The summit featured one main forum and 50 specialized forums, bringing together semiconductor experts from around the world to discuss hot topics such as industrial technological innovation and the collaborative development of the industrial and supply chains. Concurrently, the "Jiwei Semiconductor Exhibition" showcased the development achievements, innovative products, and technologies of the integrated circuit (IC) industry. Xiamen's semiconductor and IC companies focus on specialized process technologies, including the development of specialty process chips, third-generation semiconductors, advanced packaging and testing, substrates, IC design, and related equipment and materials. Xiamen is one of the key cities in China's IC planning and layout, achieving an output value of over 50 billion yuan in 2023.
