To further improve the business environment and stimulate business activity, Xiamen recently released the "Opinions on Implementing the Market Access Commitment System to Further Stimulate Business Activity" (referred to as "Opinions"). This policy, effective from August 1 and valid for five years, explores the implementation of a market access commitment system in areas that do not involve major safety risks or production safety. Traditionally, opening a new store required obtaining multiple permits, which took time. Moving forward, eligible businesses can start operating by making a commitment and submitting the necessary materials, significantly easing the process for obtaining business licenses.
